Interfaith Youth and Young Adult Conversations

The Arizona Faith Network’s (AFN) Interfaith Youth and Young Adult Conversations (IYC) is designed to help prepare Arizona’s next generation to be key leaders in interfaith communities.

The IYC program seeks to help educate and connect young leaders from diverse faiths throughout the state. These young leaders engage in interfaith dialogue and interfaith education experiences with trained religious leaders from faiths represented throughout the state. Leadership training and development is offered in important areas including civil dialogue, social justice, advocacy work and public speaking.  Please contact Vasu Bandhu to express interest in joining our next gathering.

Youth and Young Adults accepted into the IYC program will help design their own experiences with AFN mentors. Members will commit to attending quarterly meetings for a period of two years.

Youth and Young Adult Guidelines:

  • Must be between the ages of 14 to 30

  • Must be active within a faith community in the state of Arizona

  • Must have access to a computer or phone to join virtual meetings

  • Must be interested in building respectful relationships with other youth from different faiths

Upcoming events

Our vision in organizing this event is to uplift the ASU community as a whole by elevating and celebrating faith. Through music, presentations, and conversations, we aim to honor our religious diversity, educate students about different faith traditions, and encourage collaboration across religious lines to make our community better -- all while maintaining respect for one another's beliefs.
