AFN Statement and Interfaith Theological Reflection on Racism

Statement
The Arizona Faith Network mourns the injustice and systemic racism which takes the lives of black men and women throughout this country. We mourn the violence that is occuring. As people of faith we join together to pray for peace and act boldly for justice. The Arizona Faith Network represents a diverse reflection of the inter-faith community, and we cannot, in good faith be silent as the lives of George Floyd and so many others have been taken.

That no one should exalt himself over the other. Ponder at all times in your hearts how ye were created. Since We have created you all from one same substance it is incumbent on you to be even as one soul...” Read AFN’s Theological Reflection entitled “Faiths’ Response to Racism” here.
