Prophetic Witness Campaign

Arizona Faith Network & Corazón AZ

Across Arizona and the nation, we are witnessing a profound shift in public life. Immigration raids and enforcement actions are increasing, creating fear and instability for immigrant families and the communities that love them. Houses of worship are navigating new safety concerns. Public discourse is growing more hostile, and rising authoritarian tendencies, marked by the normalization of exclusion, the erosion of democratic norms, and the targeting of vulnerable communities, are reshaping the moral landscape in which people of faith are called to lead.

Communities already burdened by economic inequity and climate instability now face additional layers of uncertainty. Too often, human dignity is reduced to political rhetoric, and neighbors are framed as threats rather than as sacred members of our shared humanity.

In this moment, people of faith are called not to retreat, but to bear prophetic witness — to speak with moral clarity, stand in solidarity, and embody a public commitment to the sacred worth of every person.

Arizona Faith Network and Corazón AZ are launching the Prophetic Witness Campaign, a statewide effort to equip faith communities to respond with courage, nonviolence, and disciplined compassion. This campaign provides a shared framework for formation, public engagement, crisis response, and partnership rooted in faith-based organizing and interfaith collaboration.
