Voting and civic engagement are ways we live out our values in public life. When we participate in our democracy with integrity and care, we help shape communities where every person is seen, heard, and valued.
AFN’s voting and civic engagement work is nonpartisan, faith-rooted, and community-centered. Through education, relationship-building, election protection, and public engagement, we seek to strengthen democracy while building bridges across lines of difference.

Arizona Faith Network is recruiting volunteers to serve as Poll Chaplains and Peacekeepers for both the primary and general election as part of our nonpartisan Election Protection program. These faith-rooted volunteers help create safe, welcoming, and peaceful voting environments where every eligible voter can participate with dignity and respect.
No prior experience is required. Training and support are provided through partnerships with Election Protection Arizona and Faiths United to Save Democracy. People of all faith traditions and people of goodwill are welcome. Training sessions via Zoom will be offered on multiple dates/times starting June 10th. October 14 | 5:30 PM — Join us for What’s on Your Ballot?, a nonpartisan webinar helping Arizona voters understand the propositions and issues they will encounter on their ballots this fall.

We’re taking The Vote Is Sacred across Arizona! These free, nonpartisan community celebrations will bring together people of diverse faiths, backgrounds, and communities to celebrate civic participation, connect people with trusted election information, and lift up our shared commitment to safe and peaceful elections.
